Chandigarh, Feb. 21 -- Clear skies are set to continue in Chandigarh over the coming days, with no strong Western Disturbances likely to affect the region, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The city recorded a rise of 1degC in the maximum temperature and a drop of 2degC in the minimum temperature on Friday. The maximum temperature increased from 27.2degC on Thursday to 28.3degC on Friday, which is four degrees above normal. The highest maximum temperature of the season so far was recorded on February 17 at 29.2degC. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature dropped from 13.7degC on Thursday to 11.6degC on Friday, settling a degree below normal.
