Chandigarh, Jan. 9 -- As many as 30 junior golfers, includingseveral children from theeconomically weaker sections (EWS), received training at a week-long winter camp,conducted by the Chandigarh Golf Club from January 2 to 8. The camp was aimed atpromoting golf among children and identifying emergingtalent. The daily sessions, conducted by coaches Saaniya Sharma, Tavleen Batra and Mahesh Kumar, focused on skill development, golf etiquette and sportsmanship. A prize distribution ceremony was held on Thursday, where winners and participants were felicitated with certificates and awards. Chandigarh Golf Club president Ravibir Singh and junior golf promotions chairman Rohit Singh Dagar lauded the dedication and enthusiasm of the young golfers. The club's media and publicity chairman Dr GS Kochhar said similar camps will be held in the future too....
