India, April 30 -- British Deputy High Commissioner Chandigarh Alba Smeriglio recently inaugurated a new sports complex, the Bedford Arena at Bedford School Mohali. This marked a key milestone at the school, which is India's first British international all-girls school. The envoy was received by Principal Naomi Atkins and the school management. Smeriglio inaugurated the Arena and toured the facilities, appreciating the school's vision of providing international-standard infrastructure for students. The launch highlights the focus on integrating academics with strong co-curricular development at the school, which is spread across a 14-acre campus. The Bedford Arena features over 20 indoor and outdoor disciplines, including squash and badminton courts, gymnastics facilities, a swimming pool, tennis courts and an NBA-style basketball court, along with fitness and training amenities. The visit also included a walkthrough of the wider campus, designed to support both academic rigour and all-round development. Admissions are currently open for the founding cohort, inviting families to be part of the school's inaugural academic journey.htc...
