Chandigarh, Feb. 23 -- The Annual Sports Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at AKSIPS 45 Smart School on February 20, transforming the school campus into a vibrant arena of energy, excitement, and sportsmanship. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and teachers, making it a memorable occasion for all. The programme commenced with the ceremonial welcome of the esteemed guests the executive director Jasdeep Kalra, director Jasmine Kalra, associate director Sidhant Kalra and the principal Pamila Kaur followed by the highlight of the day that was the impressive march past presented by the students, showcasing discipline, coordination, and unity. A variety of track and field events like balloon dash race, little lifters race, broad jump, relay race, and surya namaskar competition organised for students across different age groups, including fun games, and skill-based activities. The young participants displayed remarkable determination, confidence, and team spirit throughout the competitions. Special performances such as yoga displays, Zumba and cultural presentations added colour and charm to the event, captivating the audience and reflecting the holistic development encouraged by the school. Medals and certificates were awarded to the winners. A special segment of the event was dedicated to honouring the dedicated coaches whose tireless efforts, guidance, and unwavering commitment played a pivotal role in shaping the students' sporting excellence. The school proudly felicitated the coaches (Football,cricket,skating, taekwondo) in recognition of their valuable contribution towards nurturing discipline, perseverance, and team spirit among young athletes.
