Silchar, March 23 -- A police commando camp in Assam's Tinsukia district came under a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) attack in the wee hours of Sunday, leaving at least four personnel injured, officials aware of the matter said. The banned militant outfit United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) later claimed responsibility for the attack. Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said counter operations have been launched to nab those behind the attack. ULFA(I), in a statement, claimed responsibility for the attack in Jagun area and said 'Operation Bujoni' was carried out in retaliation against Assam Police's repeated action against the banned outfit, and alleged drone attacks by the Army on its camps last year.htc...
