3 killed in road mishap in Mahendergarh
Rohtak, Jan. 30 -- Three persons were killed when their car was hit by an unknown vehicle near Buchawas village in Mahendergarh on Wednesday evening, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Ramesh Chand Meena, 51, Bhag Chand Meena, 51 and Khem Singh, 55. The victims hail from Rajasthan. Ramesh was a government teacher, Bhag Chand was a revenue department employee in Rajasthan and Khem Singh was general secretary of Jat Maha Sabha.
According to police officials, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening when the trio were going to Rajasthan after visiting the sect of self-styled godman Rampal in Bhiwani. "When their car reached near Buchawas village, an unknown vehicle hit it. Two died on the spot and Bhag Chand was rushed to community health centre in Kanina, where doctors declared him dead. We have started an investigation into the matter. A case of rash driving and causing death due to negligence has been registered against an unknown driver, who is at large. Efforts are on to identify and arrest the driver," said a police spokesperson.htc...
