Rohtak, Jan. 23 -- Two migrant workers were charred to death and another sustained burn injuries after a fire broke out at a factory in the modern industrial estate of Jhajjar's Bahadurgarh on Thursday morning, policesaid. The deceased have been identified as Abdul and Ameeruddin, both residents of Hardoi district in Uttar Pradesh, they added. Their colleague Arif, also from UP, sustained serious burn injuries and he is undergoing treatment at Bahadurgarh civil hospital where his condition is stated to be critical. A spokesman of Jhajjar police said that the incident occurred around 4.45 am in the morning when suddenly a fire erupted at a shoe manufacturing unit. "At the time of the incident, three persons were sleeping and two were trapped in the fire. Their friend Arif jumped from the floor of the factory and he sustained serious burn injuries. Fire tenders were pressedinto the service to controlthe situation. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertainedand an investigation has been initiated into the matter," the police spokesperson further added....
