Chandigarh, Feb. 13 -- The Government Railway Police (GRP), Chandigarh has nabbed two alleged smugglers from Himachal Pradesh and recovered 15 kg and 84 grams of charas from their possession. The seized contraband is estimated to have an international market value of approximately Rs.30 lakh. Sharing the details, SP, GRP, Nitika Gehlot, said that during a special checking drive conducted at Chandigarh Railway Station, a police team intercepted two youths on suspicion. Upon conducting a lawful search, 31 packets of charas were recovered from their trolley bags, weighing a total of 15 kg and 84 grams. The accused have been identified as Rahul, 24, and Ramzan, 24, both residents of Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh.
