Panchkula, Jan. 28 -- A festive morning turned into a nightmare on Monday when a utility vehicle carrying schoolchildren to a Republic Day celebration overturned near Rattewali village in the Barwala block. The impact of the crash left four children with serious injuries, while approximately seven others sustained minor scratches and bruises. The accident occurred when approximately 10 to 12 children, belonging to migrant labourer families, were heading to a government school in a local village to participate in the Republic Day programme. According to the details, the vehicle's axle suddenly broke while navigating a sharp turn, causing the driver to lose control. Local residents rushed to the scene and transported all the injured to the primary health centre (PHC) in Kot village. Due to the severity of their condition, the four critically injured children were later referred to the Sector 6 civil hospital for advanced treatment. After receiving medical care and being kept under observation, all the children were discharged by Monday evening and returned home....
