India, April 20 -- A fter seasons dominated by crossbodies and slings, the clutch is reclaiming its place. The shift feels familiar, like the '90s and early 2000s, when envelope bags and minaudieres were styled much the same way. Fashion stylist Yashasvi J Mehlawat explains, "The '90s fashion was rooted in structure, while the early 2000s leaned maximal. Now, we're seeing a blend of both. That's where clutches come in.
