The Lumineers mark India return with a captivating performance
India, Feb. 3 -- A
merican folk-rock band The Lumineers performed in Gurugram on Sunday, marking their first standalone return to India and their only stop in the subcontinent. The show drew a packed audience, with fans singing along through much of the night.
Frontman Wesley Schultz and drummer Jeremiah Fraites led a set that blended older hits with newer material from the band's latest album, Automatic (2025). The setlist featured fan favourites such as Ho Hey, Cleopatra, Ophelia and Stubborn Love, alongside recent tracks including Same Old Thing, You're All I Got and Keys On The Table.
The performance was marked by minimal arrangements, placing emphasis on vocals and songwriting. While large sections of the crowd sang along enthusiastically, quieter moments were met with attentive silence.
Schultz addressed the audience several times during the set, acknowledging the band's return to India and their connection with the Delhi-NCR crowd. Midway through the performance, the band launched into their recent track A**hole, raising a toast to the night and dedicating the song to all the "a**holes" in the room, including themselves....
