Steve Jobs' personal items and Apple's first cheque set for auction

teve Jobs' stepbrother, John Chovanec, is auctioning a rare trove of early Apple and personal Steve Jobs memorabilia through RR Auction, timed with Apple's 50th anniversary in 2026.
Jobs, the late co-founder of Apple and one of the tech world's most influential innovators, grew up in the Los Altos (US) home where many of these items were found, including his desk filled with Reed College notebooks, Atari work, Bob Dylan and Joan Baez 8-track tapes, annotated horoscopes, early Apple posters, high-school bow ties and personal papers.
The star lot is Apple's first-ever cheque, $500 dated March 16, 1976, signed by Jobs and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and made out to Apple-1 circuit-board designer Howard Cantin. Separately, the original Apple partnership agreement signed by Jobs, Wozniak and Ronald Wayne in April 1976 is being auctioned at Christie's, with estimates of $2-4 million.HTC...
