Ski racer says she has 'no regrets' after devastating crash
India, Feb. 12 -- American alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn, who suffered a serious leg injury after crashing on February 8 at the 2026 Winter Olympics, has said she has no regrets about competing.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the 41-year-old wrote, "Despite the intense physical pain it caused, I have no regrets. Standing in the starting gate yesterday was an incredible feeling. I knew that racing was a risk. It always was and always will be an incredibly dangerous sport."
The injury comes after an already difficult lead-up to the Games. Just nine days before the Olympics, Lindsey had torn her ACL, and was thus racing with ruptured ligaments in her left knee.
