Jasmine Sandlas faces backlash over alleged lip-syncing at concert
India, April 23 -- A
video of singer Jasmine Sandlas from her performance at a concert in Ahmedabad on Sunday is going viral, where she is seemingly seen lip-syncing to her song Shararat (Dhurandhar, 2025), drawing criticism online.
Throughout the performance, the 40-year-old is seen lowering the microphone several times while the track continues playing in the background.
The clip quickly sparked debate on social media, with many calling her out for a "fake performance". Several social media users criticised the performance, with one writing, "What is this nonsense?" while another user commented, "Why lip sync?" A third added, "Live concert me bhi live nahi gaate ye log."
However, some fans defended her, praising the overall show. One user wrote, "That's me vibing with my camera on the stage. What a show it was."
Another moment from the show that went viral included her pouring water over herself (see above) before beginning the act, which also did not sit right with many on the internet.
Jasmine made her Bollywood singing debut with the 2014 film Kick. She has since delivered popular songs including Illegal Weapon 2.0 (Street Dancer 3D 2020), Taras (Munjya, 2024), Nasha (Raid 2, 2025), Ashiqaan (The Ba***ds of Bollywood, 2025), and Poison Baby (Thamma, 2025)....
