Japanese ambassador tries biryani by hand, wins the internet

f there's one thing biryani does best, it's bringing people together, and Japan's Ambassador to India, ONO Keiichi, just proved it. On Tuesday, in a cheerful video posted on X, he's seen learning the classic hand-eating technique from an Indian friend while dining in Delhi.
The ambassador compared biryani to sushi and declared: "It tastes even better when eaten by hand." He later shared a photo from Andhra Bhavan in Delhi, where the delicious lesson went down. The internet loved the warmth, with users praising his openness and cultural curiosity.
This is not the first time ONO Keiichi was seen enjoying biryani. Last year, during an official visit to Telangana, he enjoyed the traditional dish at a 25-year-old biryani hotspot.
