India, March 7 -- A ctor Janhvi Kapoor, who turned 29 on Friday, visited the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, to seek blessings. Videos from her visit have since gone viral on social media. Accompanied by a few friends, the actor climbed nearly 3,550 steps barefoot, covering an 11-kilometre stretch to reach the hilltop shrine for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara. She reportedly had a VIP break darshan in the morning. During the trek, Janhvi also stopped at Mokalamitta, a spot considered sacred by devotees who walk up the hill. Fans who spotted her during the visit gathered around and cheered as she made her way through the temple premises. Janhvi is known to visit the temple every year, and is often accompanied by her boyfriend, industrialist Shikhar Pahariya. The 29-year-old has previously spoken about becoming more spiritual in recent years. In a 2024 interview, she shared, "In the past 5-6 years, I have become very spiritually inclined. I find refuge in my religion and my spirituality, and Lord Balaji specifically."
