India, Sept. 13 -- Actor Nayanthara's docu-drama Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale (2024) has landed in fresh trouble after AB International, the producers of her 2005 film Chandramukhi, filed a lawsuit seeking Rs.5 crore in compensation for the unauthorised use of their footage. The proceedings of the matter were listed for hearing on September 10. Now, Nayanthara's lawyers share that they are considering an out-of-court settlement between the parties. The next hearing is on October 6. Rahul Dhawan, managing partner, Lex Chambers tells us, "AB International seems to believe that we have violated their rights. Now, we are trying to settle with them directly. The matter will not go to trial. We are finalising the terms of the settlement and expect to resolve it before the next hearing date. However, we will proceed with the trial on Wunderbar (actor Dhanush's production company)."...
