India, Feb. 23 -- A ctor Dipika, who is currently undergoing treatment for a cancerous tumour in her liver, will undergo another procedure next week to remove a cyst in her stomach. Sharing the news in his latest vlog (inset above), Dipika's husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim said, "She had mild stomach pain for two days, which worsened on Friday night. So, we visited the doctor and got a CT scan done. That's when we learned she has developed another cyst measuring 13 mm (1.3 cm)." He revealed that apart from the cyst, the rest of the reports are normal. He added, "Last time, the doctor had told us that poorly differentiated and very aggressive tumours have a chance of recurrence. But it won't be a major surgery; the cyst will be burned. The procedure will take place on Tuesday, and she will be hospitalised for three-four days." Dipika also spoke about her emotions, saying, "Such is life. For people like me who are battling this disease, we have to face these obstacles when they come and stay determined and strong. Yes, you do get scared. I was very scared this morning when I got to know about it, but I'm glad we found out on time. I was advised earlier that regular follow-ups are very important. Don't ignore even the slightest pain." Following this new procedure, her treatment plan may also change. "Oral chemotherapy might stop, and she may need to begin proper immunotherapy," Shoaib shared, adding that a final decision will be taken after the surgery. HTC...
