Creative director Pieter Mulier to exit Alaia
India, Feb. 1 -- Fashion designer Pieter Mulier is set to leave Alaia after a five-year tenure, with his final collection scheduled for March 2026. Appointed in 2021, Mulier became the first creative director to succeed founder Azzedine Alaia, who passed away in 2017.
Over the years, he rebuilt the Paris-based brand's relevance with sculptural silhouettes, precise tailoring and cult accessories like the Teckel bag and mesh ballerina flats.
