Celebrating colour, form and innovation with a special edition
India, Feb. 11 -- Marking a significant moment, Rado unveiled the True Round x Les Couleurs(R) Le Corbusier(R) Special Edition, presented on February 6 during India Art Fair 2026 at Delhi's NSIC Exhibition Grounds. The launch reinforces Rado's long-standing association with art, architecture, and material-led design innovation.
The collection celebrates the architectural legacy of Le Corbusier through three distinct timepieces inspired by his landmark works, La Cite Radieuse in Marseille, the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts in the US, and the Palace of Assembly in Chandigarh. Each watch features a laser-engraved high-tech ceramic dial abstracted from raw concrete facades.
A key highlight of the collection is the use of four colours per watch from Le Corbusier's iconic Polychromie Architecturale palette, brought to life in Rado's signature high-tech ceramic. The watches are powered by the Rado calibre R763 automatic movement with an 80-hour power reserve, combining aesthetic depth with technical excellence.
Underscoring the strength of this ongoing collaboration, the unveiling was attended by Rado CEO Adrian Bosshard and Brigitte Bouvier, Director of the Fondation Le Corbusier. The showcase drew strong interest from art, design, and lifestyle audiences, positioning the collection as a compelling intersection of architecture, colour, and contemporary Swiss watchmaking. htc...
