India, April 22 -- Wrestler Brock Lesnar, also known as the Beast Incarnate, has fuelled retirement debate post his latest act at WrestleMania 42 after losing against Oba Femi within five minutes on Night 2. After his defeat, Brock, 48, performed an act that has long been associated with retirement in professional wrestling. He removed his gloves and boots and placed them in the middle of the ring. The Beast then soaked in the applause as the crowd burst out into 'Thank you, Brock' and 'Thank you, Lesnar' chants. Brock's long-time associate, Paul Heyman, then entered the ring and hugged the former world champion. Brock, on his way back, turned around to thank the crowd. Addressing the speculations post-show, WWE CCO and wrestler Triple H said that while they didn't have a discussion on his retirement before the match, but "it certainly seemed that way." Former world champion Kurt Angle, also reacted to the "retirement". "Love you, my brother. There will only be one like you. Enjoy retirement, Brock," Kurt wrote on X.
