India, Feb. 9 -- Actor Tara Sutaria recently addressed the ongoing buzz and negativity surrounding her personal life, following rumours about her break-up with actor Veer Pahariya, whom she had reportedly been dating since early 2025. In an interview with Elle India, the 30-year-old acknowledged that being an actor exposes one to endless speculation but said she has never felt the need to set the record straight. "As long as I know the truth, and the people closest to me do, that's enough," she shared. Speaking about balancing her career with a public image, Tara said, "I've always believed success is internal. Peace of mind, a handful of people who love you, knowing yourself, that's always been the goal. She added, "I've chosen my values over work, multiple times. But I would rather lose a film than lose myself. I've learned how to protect my peace." Recently, Tara also spoke out against online trolls after a selectively edited video from one of singer AP Dhillon's December concerts went viral. The clip showed her hugging and cheek-kissing the singer on stage while her then-boyfriend Veer watched from the audience, which sparked criticism.
