Sri Lanka, Jan. 16 -- Three individuals were injured last night (15) following a collision between two motorcycles at the Rilawala Junction in Polgasowita.

According to the Kahathuduwa Police, the victims include both riders and a pillion passenger.

The accident occurred when a motorcycle travelling from Horana attempted to turn into the Kirigampamunuwa side road, and collided head-on with another motorcycle.

Police investigations have revealed that reckless riding by both motorcyclists led to the crash.

The Kahathuduwa Police are conducting further inquiries into the incident.
