Sri Lanka, May 2 -- The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) reports a surge in job opportunities for Sri Lankan caregivers in Israel.

According to the bureau, 278 individuals have departed for caregiving jobs in Israel within the last four months alone.

This increase is facilitated by a Memorandum of Understanding between the Israeli and Sri Lankan governments, which has currently secured 2,168 caregiving positions in Israel for Sri Lankans.
