India, Jan. 9 -- The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on Thursday introduced Udai, a mascot designed to make Aadhaar-related information easier to understand and more accessible to the public. According to UIDAI, Udai will serve as a "resident-facing communication companion". "The mascot will become the face of Aadhaar. Mascots help a brand connect with people," UIDAI CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar told HT. Kumar added that the mascot will feature across Aadhaar platforms, including the Aadhaar app and website, and will assist in user interactions. HTC
