India, Feb. 5 -- India Under-19 team thrashed Afghanistan by seven wickets in the second semi-final of the ICC Men's U19 World Cup 2026 on Wednesday to set up the title clash with England in the final. The Ayush Mhatre-led Indian side's run-chase of 311 runs against Afghanistan at Harare Sports Club is the highest successful run chase in the tournament's history. Earlier, the record was 305 runs, which the New Zealand U19 team completed against Ireland at Colombo's Premadasa Stadium in 2006 edition. Opener batter Aaron George made 115 runs off 104 balls, which sealed the game for India. P20
