India, Oct. 16 -- It may be recalled that during his first term as President, Donald Trump had tweeted on January 1, 2018 that the US had "foolishly given Pakistan more than $33 billion in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit". He accused the Pakistan army of providing "safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan".
