India, Jan. 26 -- Strong northwesterly winds helped improved the air quality significantly, as Delhi recorded its cleanest January air in four years, according to data by the Central Pollution Control Board. The 24-hour average air quality index (AQI) was 153 (moderate) at 4pm. It was 193 a day ago. However, forecasts show the AQI is likely to dip to "poor" on Monday, before returning to "moderate" by Wednesday.
