India, Jan. 26 -- A massive winter storm grounded thousands of flights around the US, triggered grid crises and knocked out power to thousands on Sunday. Widespread snow, sleet and freezing rain threatened nearly 180 million people - more than half the US population, the National Weather Service said. More than 16,000 flights have been cancelled across the US since Saturday, according to FlightAware. P22
