Rahul slams govt over 'compromise' with US
New Delhi, March 13 -- Lok Sabha's Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, on Thursday questioned why a nation or its President doesn't allow India to buy Russian oil and claimed that "I have figured the puzzle out, and the puzzle is about compromise" as he tried to attack petroleum minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
Speaker Om Birla, however, stopped him and some of Gandhi's comments were later expunged.
The tussle took place hours after Birla said that the House will run according to the rules and that the LoP doesn't have any special privileges.
