New Delhi, Feb. 7 -- A day after Delhi Police denied reports suggesting an apparent rise in cases of missing children in the Capital, the city police on Friday issued another statement warning of strict action against individuals using "paid promotion" to create panic and "hype" around such claims. "After following a few leads, it was discovered that the hype around the surge in missing girls cases is being pushed through paid promotion. Creating panic for monetary gains won't be tolerated and we'll take strict action against such individuals," Delhi Police said in a statement posted on social media on Friday.
