New Delhi, April 4 -- A 48-year-old man died after being run over by a truck inside a ready-mix concrete plant in southwest Delhi's Rajokri Village area on Friday.
The deceased identified as, Surender Shah and a resident of Harijan Basti in Rajokri Village, had gone to the plant to buy concrete mix for house repairs.
Police said the victim was sitting on the floor and collecting the mix in a bag, when a truck reversed and crushed him.
According to the truck driver, he did not see Shah sitting behind his truck while reversing, police added.
DCP (southwest) Amit Goel said "The victim was taken to Safdarjung Hospital where he was declared dead. A crime team was called to the spot."htc
