Raipur, Oct. 30 -- A 38-year-old man has been arrested for raping his minor daughter and niece while on parole in Koriya district, Chhattisgarh police officers said on Tuesday.
The man had previously been convicted for raping a minor relative in 2020 and given life imprisonment up to 14 years, but was released on parole on October 19. According to the complaint filed by his 11-year-old daughter and her family on October 22 at the Baikunthpur police station, on the very night of his release, the accused went to the minor's room and raped her after threatening to kill her.
