man injured as roof collapses in Sangam Vihar
NEW DELHI, Feb. 1 -- A man was injured after the roof of an under-construction building collapsed in south Delhi's Sangam Vihar on Saturday, officials said.
According to Delhi Fire Services, a call reporting the collapse was received at 2.29pm and two fire tenders were deployed.
Fire officials said the roof of the single-storey building suddenly caved in, injuring one person, who is in his 20s, who was present at the site at the time of the incident. The injured man was rescued and taken to a nearby hospital in a PCR van. He is currently stable, they said.
The identity of the injured person were not immediately known. Officials said there was no report of anyone being trapped under the debris.
