Bhopal, Feb. 3 -- A four-year-old boy from Madhya Pradesh's Betul district has died four months after consuming the spurious Coldrif cough syrup, prescribed at a community health centre, officials said. Amla sub-divisional magistrate Shailendra Badonia confirmed the child, Harsh Kumar, was among the several children who fell ill after consuming Coldrif cough syrup. "He was referred to AIIMS Nagpur in critical condition, with the state government bearing the expenses of his medical treatment. We received information of his death on Monday," Badonia said.
