K'taka sets up panel seeking safe use of AI
BENGALURU, March 13 -- The Karnataka government has constituted a committee on responsible artificial intelligence to prepare a policy framework for the safe and transparent use of AI in government systems and technologies that affect citizens.
Officials said the committee will submit an interim report within 60 days and a final set of recommendations within 90 days. The report will outline a responsible AI policy, a risk classification system for AI applications used in governance and an implementation roadmap across departments.
