Iran caused billions in damage to US bases in West Asia: Report
New Delhi, April 27 -- Iran has reportedly caused billions of dollars in damage to US military bases in West Asia, far greater than publicly acknowledged by the US military, according to a report by NBC News.
The destruction spans seven countries in West Asia and at least 11 US military bases, the report said, adding that the damage could cost as much as $5 billion to repair. The estimate does not include repairs to radar systems, weapons systems and aircraft that were damaged by Iranian strikes.
NBC based its report on interviews with six officials.
