New Delhi, May 5 -- The Delhi high court on Monday dismissed review petitions filed by low-cost carrier SpiceJet and its promoter Ajay Singh against its earlier order directing payment of Rs.144 crore to Kalanithi Maran and Kal Airways in an ongoing arbitration dispute. A bench of justice Subramanian Prasad observed that SpiceJet, in its plea seeking review of the March 18 order, was attempting to take advantage of the outbreak of hostilities in West Asia, which occurred more than two years after the Supreme Court's July 2023 direction making the 2018 arbitral award executable.
