New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman proposed the creation of a high-powered "Education to Employment and Enterprise" Standing Committee to strengthen the link between education, jobs and enterprise creation, with a special focus on the services sector. The panel is expected to recommend measures to expand India's footprint in global services markets, targeting a 10% share by 2047. It will identify high-potential service sub-sectors and address gaps limiting job creation.
