New Delhi/Chandigarh, April 12 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in coordination with the ministries of external affairs and home affairs, has secured the return of wanted gangster Sahil Chauhan from Thailand, the agency said on Saturday. The 27-year-old was deported from Bangkok and arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on April 10, where he was taken into custody by a Haryana Police team, officials said. He has since been handed over to the Haryana Special Task Force (STF). Chauhan, a member of the Bhuppi Rana gang operating across Haryana, Delhi and Chandigarh, was involved in multiple criminal cases including murder, attempt to murder, dacoity, and the use of illegal firearms.
