India, Nov. 9 -- The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) on Friday said the process to acquire 200 hectares for the rehabilitation of farmers displaced by the second phase of land acquisition (1,365 hectares) for the upcoming Noida international airport in Jewar will begin shortly.
The additional district magistrate (land revenue), Gautam Budh Nagar, has submitted a formal request to the additional chief secretary of the state's civil aviation department for issuing a notification for this purpose, said officials aware of the matter on Friday.
The request seeks notification approval under Section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement Act, 2013. ...
