New Delhi, Jan. 29 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets worth Rs.1,885 crore including immovable property, bank balance, shareholding in unquoted investments, in its probe against the Reliance Anil Ambani group, the agency said on Wednesday. The federal financial crimes probe agency had earlier attached assets worth Rs.10,117 crore belonging to the group, taking cumulative attachment under prevention of money laundering act (PMLA) now to Rs.12,000 crore. The agency said in a statement on Wednesday that it has "detected fraudulent diversion of public money by various Reliance Anil Ambani group companies including Reliance Communications Ltd, RHFL, RCFL, Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (RIL) and Reliance Power Ltd".
