Kolkata, March 29 -- The Election Commission of India on Saturday evening published the third supplementary list of voters in West Bengal whose names were under adjudication, officials said.
The poll panel, however, noted that it has no concrete data on the exact number of voters whose names have been deleted after adjudication.
While more than six million names were under adjudication by judicial officers appointed by the Calcutta High Court, around 3.7 million names have been disposed of so far, according to an official.
Of these 3.7 million cases, around 35% to 40% of the names have been deleted after adjudication, totaling around 1.4 million.htc
