EAM talks to Iranian counterpart on war
India, April 6 -- External affairs minister S Jaishankar spoke on phone with his counterparts from Iran, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar on Sunday to discuss the fallout of the West Asia conflict and its impact on the region. There were no official readouts on the phone conversations held hours after US President Donald Trump made a fresh threat of further attacks on Iran, including the country's energy infrastructure, if Tehran failed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
