EAM in France for G7 meet; W Asia conflict on agenda
New Delhi, March 27 -- External affairs minister S Jaishankar travelled to France on Thursday to participate in a G7 foreign ministers' meeting focused on pressing global challenges such as the West Asia conflict, the situation in Ukraine and the reform of UN peacekeeping missions.
India, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Ukraine are the partner countries invited to the meeting at Abbaye des-Vaux-de-Cernay by France, the host nation. Jaishankar will also hold bilateral meetings with several counterparts during the visit, the external affairs ministry said on Thursday.
