SAHARSA, May 8 -- Around 300 children at a government middle school in Bihar's Saharsa fell ill allegedly after consuming contaminated mid-day meal, a senior official said on Thursday. Authorities have ordered lodging of an FIR against the NGO supplying the food and the school management. Frantic parents alleged there was a dead snake in the mid-day meal. However, the claim could not be verified. District magistrate Deepesh Kumar said that the children were out of danger. P12
