India, March 29 -- The conflict has severely disrupted the "Gulf model" of aviation, a unique trade and logistics system that turned Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha into the world's most efficient junction for long-distance commerce, BBC reported. This model, which allows passengers and light cargo to travel from points like Boston to Bali with a single stop, is now under threat as regional instability deters the transit traffic that comprises over half of the hubs' volume. Analysts at Cirium said that over 30,000 services have been cancelled since February 28, BBC reported.
