India, April 15 -- American actor Courtney Henggeler, best known for her role as Amanda LaRusso on Cobra Kai, has officially stepped away from acting. In a heartfelt and candid post on her Substack-also shared via her Instagram-the actor opened up about her decision to leave the industry after more than two decades.

"After 20-plus years of fighting the good fight in the acting business, I hung up my gloves on Friday. I called my agents and told them I was tapping out. I no longer wanted to be a cog in the wheel of the machine," Courtney revealed.
