CHOUHAN: UN barely existS in a world where 'might is right'
New Delhi, March 31 -- In an apparent reference to the West Asian crisis, Union agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday said the United Nations barely existed in a world where "might is right", urging farmers and scientists to help boost India's self-reliance goal, or "Atma Nirbharta", amid global uncertainties.
"The UN barely has any existence left. Jiski lathi uski bhains (Might is right) and survival (is) of the fittest. Big fish eat small fish. A strange environment prevails today," the minister said at an event.
He also stressed on the relevance of India's age-old credo of non-violence.
