CBI questions Anil ambani's son in bank fraud case
New Delhi, March 14 -- The CBI on Friday questioned industrialist Anil Ambani's son Jai Anmol Ambani in connection with its probe into the alleged Union Bank of India fraud case, the agency said in a statement.
CBI, on December 6 last year, registered a case against Reliance Home Finance Ltd (RHFL) over an alleged Rs.228 crore bank fraud. The FIR named former RHFL director Jai Anmol Ambani, the company's former CEO Ravindra Sharad Sudhalkar, and unknown persons, including unidentified public servants. A CBI spokesperson said: "Jai Anmol Ambani was summoned on Friday and was interrogated at the agency's headquarters". "He has been called again on Saturday for further examination."
